In fall 06 some friends of mine and I myself performed on a festival for electronic art called Dialog 06.
A part of the performance was the soldering of simple sound generating CMOS circuits (oscillator, clock generator, sequencer,
chaos oscillator, radio circuit, hacked LCD game,...) in front (or in the middle) of the audience.
Once these circuits came to life, they started generating all kinds of more or less controllable noises, beeps, growling,
beats and any other varieties of "sonic events".
At this point of time we performed an improvised jam session to demonstrate the irritated audience what all this soldering
was good for. :)
Inspite of some technical shortcomings we were aware of, the session was well appreciated, the audience was at the same
time fascinated, irritated and simply puzzled about these five strange guys with their soldering irons.
